Core asking me to update to a earlier version??

Posted by: Richard Choong on 15 March 2017

The update icon popped up on my Naim app when I accessed my Core. When I clicked to see, it showed that it is asking me to update to an earlier firmware. Anyone has this as well?

I have a pic but no idea how to post it here!

Hi Richard (and David),

Can you take me a screenshot of the update page and send it to support@naimaudio.com?

Are either of you on the Beta program? (If so then it is possible that you have apps or Cores that are set to access Beta code rather than release code - so it would be useful to know...)

Thanks

Phil

Done.

I am not on any Beta program. Perhaps the Core I have was preset to access beta codes and that's why I am having so many issues? Not that I know if that is even possible.

Had a couple of other reports of this and the software guys are looking into it right now - thanks for the screenshot Richard ... and obviously please don't "downdate" to 1.2.

Thanks

Phil
