Led Zeppelin - The Rain Song

I love this track but for some reason the FLAC versions I have played have a booming sound behind the bass guitar section. Ive tried different FLAC rips but its the same. What could be the reason?

Just listened to my flac rip of as you say this great song from recent CD version. Could you give us some time reference points where you're hearing the booming bass.

As I hear it - Acoustic guitar is panned to the left with electric on the right and pedal steel/slide coming in from the right to centre. Strings or mellotron along with vocal are in the centre and bass sits locked behind in the centre leaving left and right guitars to shine through.
