'The Repair Shop'

I've been watching this for a few weeks and I think it could be the germ of a very successful and popular programme.

In short, people bring in their (not especially valuable, or even pretty) treasures to be worked on and fixed. Short at 1/2 hour, so little coverage of the repairs but enough to be involving and engaging.

I can imagine it not only apealing to forum members but has potential to be an under the radar winner for BBC2 and can see it developing a wider fan base.
