I have a Qb in the kitchen and it's excellent. I'd exercise caution if you can't hardwire it, as quite a few people seem to be having problems running musos over wifi, especially if you want to play hidef music or multi-room effectively.

I'd most definitely second HH's comments. I've owned a Muso for 2 years. First 4 months used wifi - never managed a full day without at least 2 or 3 dropouts or buffering issues. Since hard wiring 20 months ago have not had a single issue!

I use it on wifi, only worked when I put different router in instead of using original Virgin one. That said I was fully intending to add own router, with or without Mu-so.

Same with 272 btw.

I use my Muso partially as a soundbar for a television. I also have Sky Q and it is a mini box that drives the television served by the Muso. All music, Tidal HiDef, is transmitted via WiFi and can't remember when I last had a dropout. The mini box acts as a WiFi extender so probably degrades the total available bandwidth, but have never checked. As  the Muso sits above the mini box the WiFi does not have to struggle to reach it.
