Try putting the napsc on the floor away from the rack. And make sure you mute the record circuits (press source mono four times in quick succession).

The 180 is hugely better than the 150 ..I was using the 150x well the 180 was away being serviced and the 180 is much more organic and stronger sounding in many ways

will do but the level of humming changes during the day ' not to say its loud only noticeable when ear around 8 inches away from it and if I put the amps on the carpet there is no noise at all,,Have a spark to sort mains out next week. He seems to think that appliances cause dc leakage through all the op amps involved in tv computers etc etc..

i tried it nest door at a friends and there was no hum at all so definately a job for the spark to isolate...
