No wifi connection to muso

Posted by: Sixes and Sevens on 26 April 2017

Hello.

I've had my Muso for around 2 years now and have had problems with connecting to wifi in the past but always managed to resolve the issues either through persistence or reading bits on this forum (or both). However the wifi connection has been lost again for a week now and doesn't seem to be coming back. I have disconnected everything (muso and router) and reconnected, reset and factory reset, deleted muso from the bluetooth devices on my iphone but when I try to connect all I end up with the flashing purple and then purple lights everytime.

Can anyone suggest anything else I might have overlooked or another way to resolve the issue?

Thanks in advance.

Probably of no help, but when I was setting my Muso Qb up, I had to move it physically closer to the router for it to pick up the wifi network to connect. After moving it back to its proper location, it still finds the wifi network and works fine, but it wouldn't do the set-up from there

Thanks Gavin, certainly worth a try. I'll give it a go.

Also check that no table lamps or cordless phone bases have been moved, which might affect the wifi signal.
A cordless telephone can wreak havoc on wifi signals, as can "energy saver" bulbs, particularly compact fluorescent lamps.
I once had the phone base moved too close to the wifi router and I lost all wifi connection until I moved it about 18" away.
