The album itself is 50; however, if you take the 'twenty-years ago today' from the lyrics, sure enough you get 70 as the year Sgt Pepper taught the band to play

As far as the TT, I like the Sgt Pepper emblem under the platter, is there a mat made of a transparent material available? I've got an old Sgt Pepper picture disc and side two looks just like the platter emblem. A red plinth would be more in keeping with the album cover theme. No idea why they chose blue, but hey it's an entry level TT so might sell well to vinyl newcomers.

I don't believe there is any transparent mat for the TT. However, there seems to be again some previously unreleased material available – band rehearsals perhaps . I am a bit curious but not sure if curious enough to place the order.
