Pre amp display

Posted by: True Blue on 18 May 2017

Simple question. I have managed to misplace my pre amp remote which normally would not be an issue. However the display lights are still on.

I have my ndx remote in hand and system automation is connected....any ideas if I can turn the pre display off without the pre remote??

Time to pick the sofa up and give it a good shake.

Sounds like a trip to your Naim dealer is on the cards, to borrow a remote for a day

Thanks. So doesn't appear to be possible? ? Trouble is I work away. Came home and wasn't where I normally keep it. Cue ocd rant. Of course no one else has moved it......

Worth an email to Naim. I have a feeling there may be way of doing it from the front panel buttons alone.

Perhaps you need to organise that in alphabetical order and have a CDO rant to straighten things out?

Another option may be to get a Logitech Harmony remote and that'll control all your a/v stuff from one remote, and they download the codes for Naim remotes from the internet (I can't guarantee that it'll have the reset code, it depends if somebody's programmed it, but it's likely to be there even if just in the command mode rather than pre-programmed to a button).
