Did he say why he didn't like them?

i'm thinking that it may have something to do with the word 'Pink' and perhaps also the rainbow colours which may send out the wrong connotations and be misunderstood by the little people in his peer group.

...may be wrong though

Stu, just admit that you really bought them for yourself.

School play grounds are jungles

As parent's you know nothing,  but you are not expected to,  you are just so-o old & out of it.

We've gone thru kids & now their off-spring, & having the right gear means you cut it - or not.  It progresses through TV stuff, cult characters, star wars, then football - that usually sticks for a few years.

Last christmas my grandson got a card that was one of those unmentionable teams in Manchester.  It was consigned to the vertical file.

But the killer was he got a polo style shirt with a Harry Potter theme. The well meaning relative was told it did not fit & was changed for the right size (with a Chelsea badge)

Seems Harry Potter is girl stuff, the baddies are OK but not the guy with the glasses.

What do we know ???   Pink Floyd - no chance

Debs,

Its nothing  to do with pink or rainbows.

He just wants another Star Wars box.

Richard,

You might be right.

I am going to give them to my other son for his birthday though.
