Chorus Ref

Anyone had experience of this cable

got one last week as an interim on my travels to a full Sarum loom

just curious on the burn in time

detail / musicality is definitely up

although it's quite a bit on the bright side, silver has a habit of that

just want to resist the temptation of tweaking those little Snaxo pots again

especially if the cable is likely to calm down

Yes I have the Chorus Reference (DIN to RCA) between my N272 and Aria phono stage. It was a big improvement from the Rega Couple 2 interconnect it replaced. I bought an ex demo cable so can't really comment on burn in time. It sounded right straight away and certainly not bright.

Personally I like the Chorus Reference and use it in RCA-DIN form for inputs and also DIN-XLR for pre-amp to power-amp (usefully you can get it in a variety of lengths). Very transparent and clear sounding and not bright (to my ears) even with the Seas Crescendo tweeter in my speakers. Possibly NAC A5 tames things anyway as a copper speaker cable...
