CB Nat01 tuned well but VFD numbers all randomly self running 0~9

Dear all,

Any one had this problem on nat01 before ? The number is recognizable while station selecting, but it starts self-running once station tuned with signal & stereo light up and terrific sound. The numbers light up and still, as it should be when tuned, if all power disconnected and replug-up. But, it lasts only few seconds. How to fix it? Please advise.

Tom, when was the NAT01 last serviced? It sounds like maybe it's now due.

I have no idea when it was serviced, as I just acquired it from previous Hong Kong owner 35 days ago. He got it from UK owner, thus I have problem to send it for service through Taiwan local dealer. Steven said, Naim has no parts for replacement neither assure it can be repaired.

I'd imagine it would need to be assessed at the Naim factory to know for sure what was needed. Certainly unique parts like the display ! Tuner head etc.. are no longer available, but it may just need realignment and some replacement capacitors, in which case Naim are your only option for repair...

Thanks for your feedback. Any green-pass to ask Naim Factory do the service directly through owner rather dealer?
