Superuniti power

I am unsure if I should leave my superuniti powered all the time or only swiched in when it is in use ?

Leave it on all the time is the consensus here for Naim gear. On/off cycles tax the capacitor's longevity and you'll get better SQ with the capacitors remaining warm and charged. If you go away for a vacation or take a leave from listening then power-off your unit and be sure to disconnect from mains to protect from power surges.

Depends on how much music you listen to during the day/week. If only in the weekend or a couples hours for few days a week I would turn it off.

I would leave it on all the time, unless you are going away for more than a couple of days or if there is a risk of electrical storms.

during I'm not listening my amp is in mute mode, power stays always  on.

yep, same here. Power is always on. I hit the mute button when not playing music.

Yeah power always on over here also. And most weeks i only listen music in the weekend. Still sounds to me despite it's always power on, after a week of rest it still needs to warm up for like half an hour to really shine. But maybe it's between the ears for that part.

(wich irritates me quite a lot, i try to see it like it's a British Spitfire fighterplane who need some warming up before going into the battle of Britain when i'm in a dramatic mood (or slightly drunk for that matter)
