Android and the Mu-so Qb

After a lot of research and a fair amount of listening to the alternatives, I've recently acquired a Mu-so Qb. Its sound quality is the best in class, no question, and the radio function is very nicely implemented.  There are one or two 'buts'...

I can almost forgive the Naim app's bugginess and 'single-instance-only' way of working - at least it stops the wife interfering with my choice of music - but my big gripe (with the Qb itself) is that it doesn't know about Chromecast and thus Android users are left high and dry when it comes to streaming from sources that aren't supported natively by the Mu-so app - and there are rather a lot of these when compared to, say, SONOS which also doesn't/won't support Chromecast. Apple users have AirPlay to fall back on - so can cast audio from any app but the remaining 50% of the population can either go out and buy a £30 Chromecast dongle and plug it in the back of Mu-so (an insult to the back of my lovely Mu-so) or 'root' our precious Android phones and install AirPlay functionality (don't try this at home children, but it works really well...)

I see that the new Uniti family of all-in-one-players features Chromecast Built-In and I wonder therefore whether it will ever get retrofitted to the Mu-so? I don't know if this would be a firmware upgrade or something more radical? Anyone hereabouts know?
