HDX - Music Folder and MQ

As the HDX saves CD rips into the folder Music\MQ why is there a folder Music\HQ as the highest fidelity music the HDX rips is 44.1 16 bit CDs?

High resolution downloads go in Download folder and MP3s go in Music\ LQ, so why the Music\HQ?

I also wonder. I think in the past this was set-up with a certain reason, however ... new insights made this not needed anymore I guess.

I assume it was put there to cater for a possible future development that never happened. This would have pre-dated the addition of the downloads folder, which was not in the original Naim streamers. The LQ folder, on the other hand, is used if you choose to have a 'parallel library' of MP3s taken from your CD rips for use on portable devices.
