Is merging albums possible.

I have had done a search on this. And some people were complaining that you cant merge albums. As i didn't see a fix for it in the thread i take that albums with 2 or more CDs cant be merge. They need to add a function so we can merge albums.
I'm not sure who 'they' is and on what you are trying to merge albums, but using dbpoweramp you can do whatever you like regarding merging and splitting, renaming or whatever.
I want to merge double albums into one. You have to pay for dbpoweramp and i have paid enough as it is with Naim. Merging albums as some other users here have said it should be in the DAC Software.
Merging albums within the DAC software.......

dbpoweramp is about £20 if you can afford naim hifi kit you can afford it.
its like a Ferrari owner moaning about the price of petrol.
makes you look ridiculous
I agree with Nigel - really straightforward to merge albums - just ensure you give the tracks the same album name and give an appropriate track sequence number
I tend to do this on multi CD compilation albums. Little cheap tools like dbpoweramp makes this child's play if you don't want to manually edit meta data using windows explorer etc - which is not much more than child's play
Mp3Tag will do this for free although a donation would be nice.

Load disc-1 on the app followed by disc-2 & tell it to play last. Thats for free as well.

DACs just process the data that's fed to them. The metadata that gives you album listings, etc. is stored in the music folder, and is there before it is played via a DAC. Then, if you're using a streamer, this info is displayed by the control point. You haven't said what (Naim) equipment you're using, but it sounds like what you need is a metadata editing app of some sort.
You can also use Metadatics for that - re-assign new metadata to both albums, or ideally using 'disc 1 out 2 and 2 out 2' function.
