Burndys

Does anyone know if my grey Burndy from my 52/52PS can be used between an NDS & 5555PS DR? If not, what version is required as I believe both items come without Burndys. Thanks

No - you need two different Burndy cables to connect the 555ps and NDS.

The larger burndy from the 555PS to NDS is a Burndy S-XPS, not the one you have.  The other is only used for the CD555 and NDS (but I can't remember it's naim).

the NDS is always supplied with 2 x burndys for connection to a 555ps.

If powering the NDS with an XPS or XP5 you use the supplied link plug in socket 2 and the XPS burndy supplied with the PSU.

Actually it's NOT always supplied with twin burndy cables. It can be ordered without them. In that case a link-plug is fitted to one of the sockets.

Thanks everyone.

The purchase has to be passed by the Finance Committee first ( ie SWMBO) - I'm just number crunching at the moment
