I would talk to your dealer, he should have ordered your hdmi version and that would be in his first batch? My dealers first shipment covers orders and then quite a few spare, due in this week. The problem so far has been firmware, not hardware, so you should be OK. Enjoy your new amp.

Annoyingly despite 9 months of waiting my dealer said the won't get anything until the end of August. Adds insult to injury when some dealers seem to have some to spare.

Very annoying, but they are being shipped on the basis of when the orders were recieved. If your dealers order was a week or so later than others........?

Who knows, my dealer has been pretty poor throughout the nine months so probably forgot to order it. Didn't seem to know the Atom had  been released and as usual it was me chasing for a update. If he didn't have my cash already I would walk, almost tempted to get a full refund and suffer the £150 loss due to the price increase and go elsewhere. Won't be going back that's for sure. Will try and get some good dealer recommendations next time I buy something.

There was no reason for the dealer to hold back on ordering. They are not billed until the product shipped. And for many they were hanging on to customers money for months. Any deposit or full up front payment didn't go to naim either.

Didn't suggest this was the case. I was speculating that they had forgot to order it. I paid in full in the 15th of November was hoping it would be sooner than end of August. 

Time to have a robust discussion with the dealer  about what they have done with your cash for 8 months. 

Time to find a new dealer I think.

Yup, seen a few of the lucky ones on facebook today....well jel!

My dealer is thinking Saturday for mine...and guess what!...I'm on Holiday (((WAAAAAA)))

I heard an Atom today playing though a pair of Shahinian Hawks, much better than the Sopra 1s despite the more difficult load. Not that I'm recommending a mullet of such proportions but it was surprisingly listenable.

It is an impressive little amp in its own right, then add in the streaming etc, it will be a hot seller. Heard it at the Signals opening of their new premises in their large room (not ideal) through a pair of PMC speakers, very nice indeed.

Atom arrived, connected and going within minutes. Huge smiles all round. Oh how I've missed Naim in that spot.  

We hooked up the Atom to the Hawks just for fun and we too were surprised it coped so well with the load. Coped with Russell K 150s too but neither would we suggest as solutions but they were to hand to start the long burn in process. 

Anyway, great to have received stock though don't expect to hang around for long lol!

ALL first batch units are shipped without HDMi - but HDMi boards will be available very soon and is an easy retro fit. If your dealer have specifically asked for HDMi version, that could be the reason he is still without ATOM's
