Any Beatles fans here?

Ringo is all about FUN, not chasing the charts.  He puts together tours and they all get to show off their best pieces.  I have numerous George albums and he was having fun too but only a couple really good songs on each.  I think Cloud Nine was decent, certainly had one great hit for MTV.  He had an incredible life tho, and as a friend said it was cool that some of his rock songs had a spiritual quality.  I always loved "Within You and Without You" on Sgt Pepper when nobody else liked it. The lyrics are really interesting the way they flip around and have a deeper meditative meaning.

Ringo was excellent with the drum sticks, but as a song writer he was and is somewhat Limited,  I seem to remember a song called Octopus's Garden possibly on the Abbey road album, certainly a jolly tune but that's about it...

As for George..... he wrote some classic songs, eg Here comes the Sun, Something, My sweet lord, While my guitar gently weeps.

I think George's contribution to the Band was sadly somewhat underrated ....
