If you touch on the "Find my rooms" link near the bottom of the screen, it should do just that.

Cheers David,

  Random issues for no reason

If you delete the app then you also delete all its internal memory of what your system is, so it has to relearn it.  It should remember it after the first time it re-learns, although version 5.6 and earlier of the app often did this automatically without being told to do so in my experience.

Maybe a deer has chewed through your cables?!

Still having problems.   My connection via n-serv to my NS01 always works ( fingers crossed )... same network, same modem, new app for the n272 is very hit and miss.... checked cables.  No deer damage!

I would report it to Naim support because they don't always read the public forum and are I think a bit in denial that there is anything wrong with the latest release 5.7.3 ("we've had 60,000 downloads to date and aren't inundated with complaInts"). It's only by enough people reporting it that Naim will look any further at the issue.

And of course it is always possible that they will have a more helpful suggestion!

I had the same screen show of the multi-room new platform image (& another version) when playing with beta 5.7.2.    Naim assigned it a bug number & its not been back since 5.7.3 was released,  its still sometimes goes through a short finding rooms sequence before opening to Home Screen,  so AFAIC 5.7.3 has fixed it.  No harm in reporting it again,  but before that are you running the current AppStore version?? (build 507301)

I'm bemused by the issues each release throws up! I'm controlling 272, UQ2 and Muso (all hard wired to network) via combos of iPad 3, iPad mini and iPhone 6, all of which are set up to automatically upgrade to latest App versions. Apart from minor issue with 5.7.1 when it wouldn't list my rooms alphabetically I've had no issues at all! Is this down to sheer good fortune, or is it something to do with network setup?

Hi Mike-B, and David Hendon, I was out of the house for a good few hours yesterday and decided before I left that I would turn my BT Hub 6 off  until I returned.  Fingers crossed the only problem I have had since turning it back on is a slight delay bouncing from finding rooms to the control menu on my iPad/iphone, no dropouts on either tidal or iradio, touch wood...

why would this be?

As I've said previously my NS01 just works, same hub same stand...same same same.

I think it's just a coincidental issue with the new naim app updates...always worked fine before,  it might be my ns01 isn't as fussy as the 272?

thanks for the reply Mike-B

I think it is indeed a consequence of the latest app updates. These issues started with 5.7.

And I think your NS01 is ok because the app doesn't see that. What it sees is the 272 and the 272 sees the NS01. The changes to the app haven't affected how the 272 sees upnp servers.....

Most odd - I'm controlling my network streamers with the 5.7.3 Beta-release - all is stable and working....
