unitiserve vga output

I used to have the vga external display interface on my unitiserve connected to the vga input on a sony bravia hd television. then I replaced the sony with a samsung ku7000 uhd television. the samsung doesn't have vga input, only hdmi and yPrPb component input. so i bought a cable adapter - db-15 to rgbhv, thinking the rgb output might be the same as yPrPb. no luck, the samsung says resolution not supported. then I bought an audio authority 9A60A vga to component converter, still no luck: same message - resolution not supported. I tried the unitiserve composite output into the samsung (using the "Y" part of the YPrPb). that works but the resolution is fuzzy. before i take the next step and buy a video converter/scaler, can someone tell me if there's something unique about the vga output of the unitiserve. is it 50hz or 60hz? 720x480? progressive or interlaced?

I was thinking the same, I've never used the VGA connection, but assuming it does much the same as either the DTC, browser interface, and/or N-Serve, all you need is the network connection that the Unitiserve already has.
