Is anyone not having problems with the Naim App?

It seems there's quite a lot of Naimees having problems with the App, is there anyone not having problems? If so what's your setup?
Ok. Why not. I've not had any problems with any version. Hitting update now!!

Sorry looks like I was mistaken, its only a beta app feature.
New version working faultlessly
Excellent, that's good news, still does not offer me anything new, so will wait until I get my Nova

It's actually a Testflight feature rather than a beta feature. But anyway it only works with beta versions. It's there so, for example, if during regression testing you find a bug that has been introduced whee there was no bug before, you can go back to earlier recent beta builds and see which was the first build to show the bug.
There is no way to roll back a release app to a previous release, except that there is a workaround you can do if you had the earlier version in a back up of your phone in iTunes. You can find how to do that if you google it, but it isn't entirely straightforward to do and does need you to have previously made that backup of your phone.

This morning decided to play some DSD files via USB, then volume shot to max 85, fortunately the track started slow so I managed to spin the wheel down quickly, only noticed as the whole wheel list up, I usually listen at 21 to 25 volume.
If it was a loud track from the go wonder if if would have blown my speakers or at least cause everyone asleep to wet the bed at 8AM.
Wrong thead obsydian. This is the thread for people with no problems!

I was going to say this seemed a somewhat fake lovies thread ; )

Hi @Obsydian,
in case you're using the iOS app, I'd suggest updating to the latest 5.7.5 release - make sure to delete the up and then install new version.
I had the same max volume problem, several times now. In my case was reproducible when switching the Atom on from deep sleep mode and then adjusting the volume in the iOS app. Had been using the latest version before, but after resetting it (delete and re-install) it so far seems to be ok.
Btw, it's not 85 (max volume default set in Settings/Audio, it's actually max 100. I've changed the max volume setting on my Atom to 30 to try if that could be a workaround. But no luck, it still played at max volume regardless what I set in Settings/Audio.
Apologies for using the wrong thread, just wanted to try and help [@mention:1566878604014936].
On the positive side: IMHO the play queue in naim's (iOS) app is better then any other app I've been using/testing so far (add to the end, add next, sort order while playing, etc.).
Greetings from Black Forest!
Schuhmab Thanks, I do wipe and reinstall, heck I even factory reset the Atom each time an app updates now.
Regards the max volume will do the same, thank you as the rare occasion is reach 60, but 35 max is more realistic for me.
No app issues ever for me. (That's tempting fate!)

I'm late to this thread but to add my 2 cents, there are no known Naim app issues here either. That's the latest app version on iOS with hardwired Ethernet and Cisco 2960 switch to NAC-N 272 so as simple as it gets!
Any app on IOS that requires a delete/wipe and reinstall, especially at update time, is, by definition, deeply flawed. Its wholly unnecessary and clearly points to underlying instability in the app, its local data storage etc.
Since Android version 2.2.1, and after firmware update to my 'broadband router' (actually to the WAP/switch in it), I'm not having any problems at all.
Everything is working fine and operation is rock solid.

I agree that a reinstall shouldn't be necessary at update time but wouldn't be quite so harsh as there have been many other pieces of software around that sometimes require(d) the same treatment. Possibly I've been lucky as I've never had to do a fresh install of the Naim application, although I can't remember if I may have done it just once or not, just as a precaution and for the fun of it!
Everything is working fine and operation is rock solid here too. Now I need to think about backing up 'My Music' selection i.e. playlists and favourites before there's a distressing accident
