Muso qb fails set up

Posted by: ray sheldon on 28 August 2017

Hi all,

Anyone know how to connect your tablet or phone to a muso qb to set it up?

The app works fine for the NDX but won't connection to muso to enable WiFi.

Obviously I've clicked set up new device and selected the right product.

I have a purple flashing lights on rear of unit and pressing next on app as instructed but it won't connect.

I've tried plugging in network cable but it's telling me that's it's already connected to a network. So I've reset the device several times and removed the network cable as instructed to no avail.

OK now, Naim missed something simple off the app instructions. .....'open up WiFi on your tablet or phone, see muso and click connect'

Thanks. Another source of annoyance  (no pun intended) is that it seems you can't stream WAV files over WiFi. Which makes the purchase pointless as I wanted to stream from my unitiserve to upstairs.

I'm not sure that is true. I can stream wav files to mine, including high definition files. However you do need a good wifi signal for this. In my case I have an Apple Airport connected by ethernet to a mac mini running Asset. This can output DSF files as wav since my UQ2 and QB cant deal with these in their native format. I normally connect by ethernet but I tested wifi on my QB and it works fine for me.
