Am I old-fashioned??

How much I love my Uniti Atom and Uniti Core ... I'd love to have an owners manual as a hard-copy ... am I the only one, or is it that I'm old-fashioned??

Not at all... a hard copy or at least a "proper" digital one. ;-)
A remote control that can access uPnp would have been nice too, just sayin'
Agreed, the website feels like a "brain dump" , not a well thought out manual.
I would have thought the Uniti range products would be accompanied by a luxurious Owner's Manual and product box. Thus the owner experiencing pleasure from the moment of opening the box. They only cost pennies to produce in China...

No they dont. And they dont transport themselves from China to UK for pennies either.
Unless you want to be pedantic, and view "cost pennies" to mean "cost hundreds, thousands, even tens of thousands of pennies" to mean the same thing.
And paper manuals get out of date, potentially more so every time the firmware or app software changes.

Maybe not pennies, but I would have been willing to pay for a manual as an extra rather than the website.
I know that manuals get out of date after firmware updates ... but have a look at a manual from a NAC-N 272 or a SuperUniti ... so much more convenient to read and look things up ... I'd be willing to pay extra ...
But we do get a cleaning cloth that we do not need! I think I could make do with a microfibre cloth from Aldi or Lidl, if that's where they can make a saving, and bring back manuals.
The paper quick-start guide is all very well, but the guides in the Support section of the relevant web pages are a real PITA to use on a Mac, and even worse on iOS devices. Given that the Core, unlike its predecessor, has iOS-only control, you'd think the online manual would at least work on the same device.
I can see no reason to waste paper with a paper manual, but a PDF version would at least be usable, and easily updated by Naim if required.

If you have to ask, then you've answered your own question...
Yes.

In a literal sense they do cost pennies indeed because I havent specified how many pennies. Figuratively speaking (which I was doing) - the cost of producing a manual with glossy cover and a few glossy pages in A5 size or even A4 is nothing compared to the overall cost of the Uniti models. If one can buy a large Children's book with glossy cover and glossy pages for a couple of quid then I dont see why an owner's manual would cost more than that. And before you say anythign, yes, those children's books are printed in China, and they are shipped from there, and they onclude profits for all parties involved.
I tried to find the manual on the website, but failed. There needs to be link from the product page, but all you get is the quick start guide. Personally, I'd be happy to have access to a pukka manual in PDF via the website. As Chris says above, it's easy to update as functionality changes, which given the speed of things happening so far is hardly likely to be that frequent.

Bizarrely, the full manual is in the support section, rather than the manuals section!

I have paper copies of my manuals in a draw but I've rarely actually used them as I invariably use the .pdf copy on the laptop. In my case I don't have the new Uniti range, but looking around the Naim www for a manual is really not acceptable. I now understand what your post is getting at.

No,you are not the only one,I too am old fashioned as I still request for monthly paper bank statement and paper motor insurance.

Yes and no.
The issue I have with many manuals, paper or otherwise, is that with modern tech and many ways of doing/connecting things it can be very difficult to find the exact piece of information you want. On the flipside, as with searching forums, searching online hints and tips/knowledge base type articles can be hit and miss depending on phrases used and it is often easier to find the right section in a proper manual based on a chapter's context even if the nitty gritty info is harder to pin down.
Yes, paper manual on fixed functionality would be nice but I'd be happy with a regularly updated PDF to take in any advances/firmware updates.
What I detest is short manuals the size of a phone directory because they contain 20 different translations of the same limited information.
Wouldn't it print (if you own a working printer)
I have three or four bloody printers, the cheapest I could get everytime the older one denied to work
Finally I found I had to buy new ink
I did and when I needed a copy the ink was dryed out
Guess what, I visit local library and pay for each and every copy, much cheaper with my needs for paper
