Who has compared the core as a streamer against using it into a DAC directly and what did you use and what conclusion did you draw?
Please don't side track this with a discussion of the superiority of streaming from a NAS.
I agree. If the NDS qualifies as a DAC I'd say I prefer the network connection having tried digital via a Naim DC1 coax....although some will say that I need at least a £5000 coax soldered at dawn by maiden yak herders in Tibet and the run in for at least 5 years
