I have a Naim Nac N-272 which I have been using to stream Tidal on for the last year or so. Yesterday, I changed my wifi setup by adding a supplemental router to try to cover for the Sky Box inadequacies I've faced for some time. The Sky box is still acting as modem with a Linksys router plugged into it. Sky wifi has been disabled. My 272 is hard wired to the Sky box still and shouldn't (as fas as I understand it) therefore be affected by the wifi change. However, I now cannot get my iPad to talk to the 272 via the Naim app - It's telling me that there are no rooms with Naim equipment in them in the house. I have turned the system off and on but this does not seem to have made any difference. Everything else in my streaming and hard wired internet system continues to function as before (only with faster, more reliable wifi). Can anyone with better IT systems knowledge give me some steer as to how to fix this problem?
Many thanks

Andy, ok good it is working.. so for.anyone following this thread, when you would have used the Analyzer you would almost certainly seen no blue U against the streamer and NAS... this would almost certainly point to the issue with the wifi connectivity or wifi config, and that is what it sounds like you have changed as it appears you may be simply using your new router as a wifi bridge now... again for anyone else I advise against using offthe shelf routers to displace ISP routers unless you know exactly what you are doing and with some ISPs there is more going on in the router that you may realise. If there is poor wifi there are better solutions with seperate wifi access points such as from Apple or Ubiquiti .... broadband routers are not ideal wifi access points in my opinion despite the consumer marketing spiel.

Simon, I appreciate your advice as someone who knows an awful lot more about this than I do but I'll stick with what I have for now and hope it continues to function ok: if not, I guess I'll probably try one of the solutions you've outlined.
Thanks
Andy
