Naim app update for IOS

Do not do the naim firmware IOS 11 update if you still want to use your playlists. Some code must be missing because I can not acesss playlists now, I did both my phone and IPad and both have the same issue. My wife had not did the firmware update on her phone and we can still access playlists and the songs on her iPhone. I called the Naim importer for North America and they confirmed or were pretty sure that the issue is in the firmware update .

Simon do you think the new firmware you are testing with the playlist fix, will be released by the end of the week?
You could ask Phil for a copy of the beta.

sorry a question to ask Naim.
have a search on the forum, naim sometimes ask for users to join the beta test group, if you are up for putting some time aside to test out the apps functionality.

Musicfan, as Simon suggests above, send a mail to Naim (info@naimaudio.com) and ask whether theres an opening to join the Beta group.

I did and got a reply today and they said the update would be released in about a week. They did not say I could join beta group even though I asked.
Ah OK, it may well be that there are no current openings in the Beta group.

have a look at the App Store, as you will find 5.8.2, already for you to download ��
Hopefully this will sort out your playlists

I got it. Yippee! Downloaded it and it works fine so far on my iPhone . Update has not shown up for the iPad yet but maybe later in the day or tomorrow huh?

Thank you for the heads up on this Simon . Appreciate it. At least the iPhone works with playlists. Happy about that . Again thanks!
I think if you go to the App Store in your iPad, kill the App Store by swiping upwards, restart the App Store and ask it for the app again, it will give you the latest version.

Got the IPad to work with new update! Thank you David!
I can't seem to get the slide over app working with the latest version of the Naim app...
Can someone else also test this please!
Split screen isn't working too!

Naim know about this and its supposed to be fixed in a future release, but they couldn't fix it quickly enough for this release which was needed out there urgently for new Uniti reasons.
