Issue with Naim app 5.8 iOS

I have a major problem with the Naim app 5.8 iOS.
I have a major problem with the Naim app v5.8 (iOS). When I initially installed the app (on my ipad 9.7 pro. iOS11) after the update came out, it stopped reading my playlists. The playlist were still there but there were no songs. I did not have this issue with 5.7 (which was still on my phone).
Later I noted that if I played the songs on the playlist from my phone, the songs will then appear on my ipad naim app.
After I updated my iPhone naim app, everything became worse. Now none of my playlists have songs.
When I try to create new playlists, the songs can be added BUT they will disappear if I close the app. For the songs to remain in the playlist, I have to play at least 1 song from the playlist. If an entire album is in the playlist, only 1 song from that album needs to be played. If there are more than 1 album in the playlist, a song from EACH album needs to be played.
Once the song is played it appears in the playlist.
HOWEVER, once the application is closed. All the song disappear.
I am using a Uniti Core.
Does anyone have this issue? I have reported this to Naim. Waiting for a response.
