Always switch your power amp (250DR) on last and off first so the speakers are isolated for the rest of the switching. If you power amp isn't powering the speakers, than the rest doesn't matter.

Power-off: Power Amp(s) - sources - Pre

Power-on: Pre - sources - Power Amp(s)

I like to have to Pre the last turned-off and first turned-on as some sources can present an impulse into the Pre input and damage the input coupling caps which can't happen if it is on first.

With all Naim sources then it does not matter as they all have switch-on mute.

As above.

You will always get a little bit of a thump but do not be alarmed, this is perfectly normal.  It should not be a particularly loud one though!

What ever non Naim equipment i have ever owned I always turned the pre on first and only then the rest. When I owned Naim I only ever turned the power amp on and off, power supplies etc were always left on.
