Nait 5i-2 Problem

The volume control is stiff and does not respond to the remote half the time. If I pull outward on the volume control it loosens up and works. is this normal?

It happens more often. I had the same on my original Nait 5. Just pulled it out a bit, and issue solved. There are some old posts on this forum about it.

If it has been packed poorly or the foam cutout isn't in the right place then it can push in the volume knob so it binds on the LED cable and inner recess of the fascia. As mentioned above, just pulling it out slightly should cure the problem. If it remains then the LED wiring inside may need re-dressing around the volume control shaft.
