Get in touch with your friendly Naim dealer!?
John, do try Naim first - sometimes lost boxes of spares are unearthed, so you never know. I managed to procure some replacement knobs a few years back. However, IIRC, I think that stocks of the tractor wheel knobs are now exhausted, in which case you could try ringing around some Naim dealers who stock s/h kit, or else you could brave the often choppy waters of online auction sites.
However, assuming that it disappeared at home and not in transit/storage and only later discovered, it must be somewhere! Kids? Look in places like VCR slot if you still have one, inside speaker reflex port, between armchair cushions, behind radiator etc. i don't know how big it is: edible by a dog? Squeeze that plastic bag when you do the poop scoop.... I think I'll stop there!
If this is a Naim 'Tractor Wheel', they are about 50mm or 2 inches in diameter - and about 20mm or 3/4 inch thick.
How can you lose one of these......?
Hi Innocent. no kids ,no dog, no vcr, No Knob
Hi Ian, You are right 2 x 3/4 " about the right size If I knew how I lost it I think I could find it. Tru one moment there and next on Knob.
I am lost at how it has disappeared you have to undo the little grub screw to remove it I have not had that Knob long either. Now my system looks funny with NO KNOB ♥
The phantom Naim knob nobbler strikes again!
Damn him.
Nigel.
You seem to know a lot about Knobbing Nigel
Did you need a Knob. AHH was it you . Have you got My Knob
Are You the phantom????
I'd suggest calling James at TomTom Audio. Last time I was there he had a truly massive stock of s/h Naim gear.
Thanks Clive.
I live in New zealand it's a bit far to go for a Knob. I will email them and see if one is available.
Thank you
Never been to New Zealand. No, never, honest.
I will admit, I do love those tractor wheel knobs but I would never steal. No, not me guv!
John, try Chris Murphy. He may have some spares knocking around.
get one 3d printed?
Or raid a kiddy's toy tractor? A back wheel of course.
You can always rely on the forum for helpful advice!
What have I started . I am going to give all your suggestions a go and see it I can fined a replacement Knob.
Nigel now your true colors are showing. It would be like taking candy from a baby . Good Idea .....
My wife says how could I loose my Knob just forgetting how to use it was bad enough but loosing it
Yes 3D Printing now that is a proper suggestion and one I did not have my self , I think I will steel that Idea and do as You say Mr Honeyball
Mind you Nigels one of stealing from a kids tractor sound far more fun.
Could try James at Tom Tom he is really helpful, i'm sure you wouldn't have to visit the store for a demo, he could just post it to you
I do actually have one here, but I am keeping it a similar reason in case I need one in an emergency! They are rarer than hens teeth sadly. It would be great if there was a way of obtaining the cad models to have a reissue of old spares, as I am sure there are loads of owners with missing or damaged knobs (no pun intended).
I would try asking Mr Murphy in Wellington first - after all, he's in the same country as you.
Hi Richard
A very sensible comment Take a look at home first Do you have a contact for Mr Murphy please .
Thanks for telling me you have one Lewis that's a great help
Where do you keep it Lewis can I come and take a look, AH hold on I will ask NigelB to pop over some time after dark.
No seriously now. Would you take a couple a buckets or rocking horse poo for it I have run out of hens teeth.
The nice fellas over at tom tom have no stock at this time .
Chris is the Naim distributor. Details are on the Naim website. The Real Music Co. in Wellington.
Now, now you two. Forum rules...
Sorry I forgot it all my fault.
Thanks richard .
It looks like a Richard has been lenient on this occasion. But I guess trying to help a guy find a new knob when he's been careless with his own antique can't be breaking too many rules.

The rumours about me being the phantom Naim knob nobbler are simply untrue. UNTRUE I say!
BTW does anyone know where Lewis lives?
Indeed the chaps at Tom Tom are great.
ROFLOL. Nigel What can I say, you claim innocents but, as I see it there is only one innocents here Mr Bystander.
I will get to the bottom of this sooner than later I have decided to knock the house down to find the KNOB
The wrecking balls are on the way. Hold it we are packing to move house maybe I have packed it (Dam).
My wife is still telling me I must have lost it a long time ago. She can't remember seeing it for years
