Adding Naim Nova Remote

Hello all - I just purchased a Nova, and had no luck pairing it with the remote. So, I completed the set up using the Naim App. Success. My dealer had me bring in the remote & gave me a new one to try. The Nova is working perfectly. I tried to pair the remote with the unit - no luck. Is there a way to pair the remote with the up & running Nova?

The first time I tried to pair it with the remote, nothing happened, But a little pressure on the batteries helped.

Another Nova owner took the batteries out of the remote, left it for a few minutes, put them back in and kept the pairing button pressing going for 2 mins at which point it did pair successfully. You can no doubt find the thread. It was only a day or so back.

Yes, I've read the thread. What I want to know is if there's a way of pairing the remote AFTER the Nova has already been set up using the Naim App.

I think you will find you can pair a remote at startup of the Nova, whether it's been set up or not.

But if you ring Naim tomorrow, they will know for sure.
