iphone and bluetooth

hi all,

can someone tell me if i can connect my iphone 6 ( with iOS11 ) using bluetooth, to my version 2 superuniti with the aptx bluetooth included?  I can connect my macbook pro to it using bluetooth no problem, but just can't do the same with my iphone... I was trying to play my itunes library that's stored on my iphone on my SU. In this instance it's a question of can it be done, rather than one of music quality and the best way to do it.

Thanks

You should be able to do this I think, although my SU doesn't have Bluetooth so I haven't tried myself. It is discussed in the relevant page (page 32 in the English version) of the reference manual which is here https://www.naimaudio.com/site...20Eng%20Rev%202D.pdf

You have to pair the iPhone and the SU as a first step. The manual tells you how to do that.

I can pair my iPhone SE with my UQ2 so it should also be possible with your iPhone 6 and Superuniti with Bluetooth.  However, I do find that with the UQ2 in its cabinet, bluetooth range is not that great and there are cut-outs if more than 6 foot away.  It's much better if the UQ2 is on a top open shelf.  The Macbook Pro seems better here.

My experience is similar,  Bluetooth from an iPhone seems to drop out very easily compared to on a Mac, maybe it has a weaker signal from the smaller device.
