Mother! worst movie ever made ?

Just got dragged by my wife to watch this movie.

oh dear, wish I had stayed at home and listened to music instead.

It is simply the most stupid movie I have had the misfortune luck to see.

I'm surprised the studio signed off on this as it is just stupid and mediocre.

I've already watched Al Gore explain about the inconvenient truth? I'd rather watch that a 100 times over instead.

The director of mother! needs to go take lessons in basic, really basic ideas on how to tell a story and keep your audience from walking out of your movie as it is so boring, and so mediocre.

Oh well, I'll cross that off my list of things to watch at the cinema. The critics gave it a fairly good reception but I get the feeling it's a bit "Odd". One to watch on Netflix when it comes along I guess.

A wife????

I had to google it, and when I read that it was written and directed by Darren Aronofsky things became clearer. I don't know if this is the worst film ever made, but Aronofsky is the director of the saddest, most anguishing and depressing film ever made, Requiem for a dream, which I saw years ago when still living in Torino. Then he did The wrestler, I don't know why, then there's the more mainstream Black Swan and so on.

If someone wants to see to which extent a man is capable of conjuring up the most devastating fates for a group of people, apparently able to otherwise lead a squalid but dignified life, take a look at Requiem for a dream. Or else not, too.

I've seen this picture, and while it wasn't my sort of thing, it was definitely better than the scores of chickflicks/romcoms and superhero/elf movies I've been forced to watch over the years.

However, for sheer coma-inducing, blood-chilling, eyeball-slicing awfulness, it's hard to top Sepp Blatter's self-aggrandising FIFA vanity project United Passions (starring Tim Roth as Blatter, who looks as if he'd rather be elsewhere throughout).

Famously it grossed just $918 on its opening weekend - its released coincide with the FIFA corruption scandal - and has been universally panned (its Rotten Tomatoes rating is 0%). With very good reason. It's absolutely fcuking awful.

The girl who became my wife and I made very early in our relation an agreement that I join one romcom with her for one James Bond for me. Works well for us.
