Naim app NDX controls not working

Something odd has happened. The play/pause next/previous buttons on my Naim App on iPad do not work for my NDX. They are working perfectly for all our Musos. I noticed this problem earlier tonight, checked for an update (there was one v8.5.2) and downloaded it but the same problem is there. I have restarted the iPad but no difference.

Is this a bug?

Also when you queue a CD it only plays the first track and because of the mentioned problem there is no way to move it on to the second tack. Frustrating!

I assume that you’ve already tried to restart your NDX, router and app ?

This is not a bug that anyone else has reported and we didn't see it in beta testing. I suggest you restart your NDX as a first step.

And when you say you you queue a CD, I am assuming you mean you are talking about a CD rip playing on the NDX?

As David said it not something reported before.   A few quick things to try:   In Settings > reset the app.   While you are in Settings, check that all the buttons are enabled in 'Other Settings'.       If that doesn't work,  delete the app, power cycle the iPad & reinstall the app.         Because the problems with NDX only (Muso is OK)  the issue might be in the NDX side,  a reboot of that might be worth a try.
