Can you use a stageline on a Nait 3?

Yes but you’ll need a PSU. A flatcap is the answer.

Yes I think so and would be better than a FC.

Also bear in mind that you'll need a 4-5 interconnect.

Good point. At the risk of high-jacking Clive’s thread is there a 4>5 pin Din hiline for such purposes?

Yes, there is. However, I tend to prefer the regular grey/lavender 4-5 i/c in this situation.
