Synology DSM 6.1.4-15217

Synology have withdrawn the last DSM update 6.1.4-15217 released last week. No official reason has been given, it's just been removed from the Synology server. It's reported on www that its because of an issue with PPPoE (Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet ), if you don’t use PPPoE , & I suspect very few if any forumites do, it should not affect you so there's nothing to do. That said I have noticed my RAM has gone from a low 20% to mid 30% since 6.1.4-15217, (maybe coincidental). I expect a new DSM will go into the hopper in the next day(s).

Version: 6.1.4-15217-1 came down the automatic update www pipes this morning. Seems to be OK, although my RAM is still higher than it used to be (something I will look into later)
