cardas multi blocks to elevate burndy cables

has anyone tried to elevate from the floor the burndy cables with cardas multi blocks? my burndys are touching the floor....these multi blocks are not so expensive ( 50GBP for 6)

I thought the advice was they should hang free of the floor, not be propped up.

I also found a difference from moving the 500ps up the brawn stack but the 552 in the brain stack needed to be higher still or I prefered a 250.
