just a short note to say I have just read on Facebook that frank is deeply unwell with a brain tumour. His wife Judith posted the news overnight and it has come as a complete shock to many, myself included.
A serious Naim user and, I believe, dealer for the company in Malta?

It is odd that whilst you do not meet many of the folk on these forums, you feel like you know them through reading their posts over the years, and I recall reading many of Franks during my time as a Naim member. Sad times, I wish his family the best in this difficult period.

Very sad news.
I had met Frank a couple of times in Reading, and felt he was a nice guy who had a great knowledge base in Hi fi, built over many years.

Terribly sad. JN mentioned this a few days ago. I never met Frank but his posts revealed a man of fine character and judgement. As this thread shows, he will be greatly missed on here. Thoughts and best wishes for his family.

I wish to echo the sorrow expressed at Frank's loss to his family and this Forum. He was always able to put his point over well, and from a position of considerable experience of the things he talked about. He was one of the posters on this forum whose views I would always look forward to reading.
