How to show which format is playing?

Posted by: Seaman on 18 November 2017

Hi!

Is there anyway to show which format is playing in the naim app? If I play for example 96/24 it would be nice if it were displayed in the app. Does anyone now if this is possible?

Thanks!

I believe there might be differences with media server software & also with transcoding,  not sure of details,  just remember something on the forum.

I'm using Synology's own 'Media Server' & not transcoding.

Mike, I transcode FLAC to WAV on both Unitiserve and Synology/Minim, and the info is always displayed. There is an issue with some versions of the app in which the info was shown on the first track of an album, but all subsequent tracks just showed 'UPnP WAV', instead of the full 'UPnP WAV 44.1kHz 16bit.'

Ok, thanks! Problem solved - I reinstalled the naim app and now it works like a charm! Propably should have tried this first but didnt think of it.

Thanks for your tribute!
