Christmas will be late this year!

... but will be well worth the wait.

Just placed an order for a new NAP500DR.  Probably need to wait up to 10 weeks for delivery - but I will certainly have something to look forward to in January.

Anyone with good memories, will recall I have been running a “wonky active” system for about 10 years.  It started with 250/250/300, a more challenging 250/300/500 and and is currently 300/500/500.  More recently I have had the SNAXO set by Naim to account for the 300.  Not that I will be quite there yet.  This takes me to 1x500DR and 2x500.  Still not a bad problem to have.

Any thoughts on SNAXO adjustment for the DR (can I just return to the original settings)?  The usual question - where to put the better amp (I have always placed the weaker one on the mid - contrary to many views - this sounded better to my ears)?

I also suspect I am not alone - will others be waiting for that late delivery?

Seasons Greetings ????

Waiting for a Snaxo for my DBLs. When ordered the feedback was that it would be built in December. Hoping that means built, tested and shipped in December.

'Good things come to those who wait' as that advert said! Something to look forward to for sure. Enjoy it when it arrives and post back with your findings!

You fooled me, if I would have known this was an Aktiv Thread, Welllll!!!!!!

Look put the Dr, on the Tweeter, and forget about it!

No, not the Better Amp on the Tweeter song, but the lesser amp on the Mid Range!

That's your song!

Now you have harmony with the low end.

The leaner, quieter, and quicker DR amp will be at home with the tweeter.

Just saying, I don't have a clue!

Allante93!

PS. Nice System Gavin!
