Tablette 10 Linking Bars...

...are noticeably better than jumper cables.

Following received wisdom, I tried replacing the jumper bars with TQB cables and the results were quite disappointing. I notice the proac bars are flat to the face and convex to the back, which gives them a very solid & tight interface with the ‘speaker terminals. My direct connection is both + & - to the high frequency terminals.

With the jumper leads the hf got a little ragged & less well integrated.

I read somewhere that the best sound is achieved by running bare wire through the binding posts spanning both posts.

That' how my NAC5A connects.

Never tried the original Proac bars.

Same here,  bare NAC5A going through both binding posts of the Proac Response which makes sense, the signal transported by the same wire all the way. The dealer suggested to experiment with the direction of the cable (bottom to top binders or top to bottom) but I couldn't tell any difference and left it going through the bottom binders first.

This goes against everything I've ever read about the links/jumper bars provided by a manufacturer. I can't see it.  I doubt I will try it but what I will do after Christmas is to remove the jumper leads I have and run the speaker cable through both terminals, after exposing the required amount of course.

It's a shame that Proac use Bi-wire terminals in the first place. I'm disappointed every time i look round the back of an otherwise well engineered speaker to find four (or more) bloody terminals

Interesting find though, Graeme.
