Cd555/555psDR installation

need some help, after removing seven transit screws on the cd555 I very carefully installed brundys as marked on the installation guide, installed the 5pin Din and...nothing ? no sound yet player is working and power source is on. As this is a very gently pre-owned unit i was told by the dealer that perhaps it was set up to recognize RCA as the input but I dont see any way to change to the 5pin din? what am I missing?? I used the remote and could not find a menu option relative to choosing RCA or Din?

I had a similar issue when I set mine up but I don't remember the resolution. Ping your dealer or look at the manual. There is an easy fix.

To quote from the manual - p4:

With the player stopped, press and hold the remote DISPLAY function or the front panel DISPLAY, until the PROG indicator flashes.

Further presses of the DISPLAY function will then cycle the output options.

DIN = O
Phono = oo

Both = O oo

Press and hold DISPLAY function/command to exit and set.

DIN only is the recommended setting.

Mine sometimes has a wobble and resets itself to Phono - no idea why. Easily fixed.

FYI - access to a manual (16.4 covers the output settings) is here - albeit I have a dedicated 555/555PS Owners Manual, which I cannot see listed on the main Naim site.
