Firmware update core fails

Mine updated first time. Would it be worth power cycling the Core and then see what happens? 

My first attempt appeared to get stuck when looking at it via the app.  Then appeared not to update.  However, all was well once power cycled. So, do a power cycle of both Core and whatever control device you are using. Check on fw updates. If done - great, if not then apply the update. Then make sure you also do any updates to the App.  Then restart devices.

Yes as Ravenswood10 and Richard say, power cycling the Core and restarting the app should sort out the issue of not seeing an update and the issue of the update apparently having not worked.

The Core not working properly after the update can be fixed by a factory reset, or as one forum member reported a day or two back, two factory resets. You  do this by turning the power off to the Core completely, then holding the standby button in, turn the power back on. You  release the standby button only when the light flashes above the front panel USB socket. This will delete favourites and playlists though.

Thanks all. Apparently, the update took - just didn't know it until rebooted and saw the current firmware version had been installed.
