Legendary turntable. Legendary tonearm.

I've heard both. Loved my Hadcock on a PTA. And was very impressed by a Xerxes in my local hifi shop some years back when there were local hofi shops.

I still have - and rejoice in - my Xerxes/Artemiz/Shiraz (first vintage, with dedicated Caspian power supply/pre-amp) which I purchased from a certain Polar Bear of this parish.

Xerxes 10 is a pretty fine deck, a big improvement over the original Xerxes.
