Multiroom Fun

Multiroom worked perfectly (shareable in both directions) when I had only a Mu-so and the NAC-272. I recently added an Atom and Core to my home after which there is only one multiroom combo that works - Mu-so to Atom. Otherwise, the other streamers don't appear or I get an error that states "a maximum of 0 multiroom clients is supported."

I understand that there are some firmware updates pending. Meanwhile, I am sorry to have lost the functionality I had before adding the newest units. My preference would be to share the NAC-272 with other systems as that drives my main listening room. Any suggestions welcome.

Naim have been working to make old and new streamers work together on multiroom for a while now, and I believe they hope to release an update reasonably soon. I’ve been running an Atom and an NDX together, and they work well enough apart from some volume control issies.

Meanwhile, you can always disable Multiroom on any device that seems to be causing problems, if that helps other devices to work together. Not ideal, of course, but maybe better than nothing as a workaround until the update arrives.
