NAC 32/SNAPS/Non-Naim amp connection help

Hello,

I have a NAC 32 and a SNAPS. I can't seem to locate accurate connection information on how this all cables together and what I need exactly. The only reference material I can find refers to the NAC 32.5. What exact sockets are in play from the NAC 32 to the SNAPS? Also, what socket do I use to connect to a non-Naim amp? I have a couple of cables from Flashback, i.e. a 4 pin to 4 pin cable and a 4 pin to RCA cable, and I can get the 32 to power on, but when I connect the 4 pin RCA to my Hafler DH-200 amp, I get some serious feedback. Just connecting the cables alone gives serious feedback. I just want to make sure I'm doing this right. I may have the wrong cables from Flashback, but I'm lost completely. I also happen to have an olive HICAP, but don't really want to get into that if the SNAPS is supposed to work. Thanks.

You connect the NAC32 to the SNAPS via a SNAIC4 (24v +ve DIN4 on SNAPS. This provides power to the NAC and also takes signal from it to the SNAPS. Then take signal from SNAPS to your amp via neighbouring DIN4 using the DIN4 to RCA cable.

It does require the correct cables though and I can’t comment on any other than the NAim ones.

Can you upload socket (rear) pics of the nac and snaps? Might as well upload a pamp pic too.
