Now available for iOS and Android. When available via Naim streamers?

Unfortunately this is what I had to do. Update DSM to the Beta version and then install the beta version of the LMS to get it working,

I was looking at this beta stuff yesterday, and decided it wasn't worth the hassle. I can still get the lossless stream to both Atom and NDX for now, just thought a wired solution with the NAS might be a better way.

For the new Naim streamers, Bill from RP has hinted that a CCA solution might be in the pipeline.

You should not need to upgrade DSM to a beta version, but only enable beta packages in the package center settings!? I am using the standard DSM with the beta LMS package if I am not wrong.

Thabks to those who mentioned that only new (possibly beta) versions of LMS would work with this.

I had trouble getting the Synology/LMS package to work previously. But I just ticked the beta package box and updated LMS (unsure if it's actually a beta version now or if it's just a new release version).

Hey presto, it now works.

As far as I can tell there's no way to get to it via the Naim app. I'm using a workaround of keeping a bookmark of the LMS UI in my phone web browser. So it's a minor PITA and would be much improved by proper Naim integration. But at least I'll be able to check it out. Hoorah.

For iOS you can buy the iPeng app to control LMS. But ok, it is still not integrated in the naim app with this.

If you install in LMS plugin called UPNP Bridge and then carry out some settings you Naim streamer will be visible as one of the available players (squeezebox) . Then you can easily control Naim from LMS directly or via any application designated to work with it such as Squeezer or Squeeze Commander which I believe are free. This includes sending RP stream. I have been controlling my old uniti for years like that as I have a couple of squeezboxes too.

So, you are using Squeezebox to control Uniti? Is it possible to do it other way around? I have LMS on the list of UpNP servers on my Naim IOS app but I cannot play anything but the music from the designated NAS folder. It would be great if would have one menu item called Streams and to have RP and others.
Am I asking for too much?

Or as Gert said. Get iPeng. You can then source your NAS drive via UPnP, Qobuz, Tidal, BBC including play it again, Radio Paradise, Podcasts all from your LMS running on Synology with the appropriate plugins. Lots more too that I haven’t explored.

As far as I know you cannot control the RP LMS plugin from your uniti. You only can use the LMS as UPnP server if you have enabled the regarding plugin (not to be mixed up with the upnp bridge plugin!), so you can control playback of tracks from your NAS via LMS-upnp.

The only drawback of iPeng with the qobuz playback: You cannot tag and untag whole albums as favourite

No. You have to do that through the Qobuz app. Still think it’s an amazing system. Have paid for Audirvana but way prefer iPeng.
