Is Anyone on here the current owner of these speakers?

I sold them years ago and am looking for any current owners.
why is it so bloody daffy to put up a picture???
You need the direct link, rather than an embedding link.
Viola, as they don't say in France:
which button do i press on this forum to add this direct link?
See the FAQ - in the header bar of the Add Reply dialog box, it's the little rectangle with the mountain.
yes i figured, but i add the direct link and it gives me shit all
I've been a member for years on here and now i remember why i never post pictures, I aint got the time, off to play some records instead ;-)
OK, by the way, they look like ProAc Tablette Reference 8s...

My money is on elm, with a nice bit of burr.
These are in the yew finish from Proac, discontinued long ago because the EU considered that yew tree was toxic; if I recall well that’s not the only reason why Proac decided to discontinue the finish though. The other reason was (that’s what I get told) it was difficult to find.
Ah ok - thanks for answering that

A picture, though, would be worth a thousand words.

Or something to know what exactly are the speakers we are asked if we own... (Unless Dave***t is clairvoyant and displayed the very same.)
Mind you, I agree with the OP: the process of posting can be a hassle if not something for which one has a ready link, and I am sure others have also found it sufficiently frustrating As to inhibit posting pictures. Is there no way that Hoopla can amended to accept a simple copy and paste?
I'm not clairvoyant, but the picture I posted *is* the picture the OP was trying to post.
I just picked the URL out of the code that his original attempt produced (and which has since been removed from the thread).
Yes, I cleaned up the OP's opening post after Dave had posted the picture from the original URL.

They look too light for Yew. Yew is darker and quite orange in colour, more like cherry but with a less consistent grain.
I found this picture of some yew speakers on the web, this is how I recall yew Proacs to look like and this is how our yew sitting room furniture looked like before we changed.
the speakers are Proac tablet reference 8 signature in Burr Oak special finish serial number 911. The buyer bought em and a week later bought some wilson benesch arcs. this was about ten years ago.

as I've lost patience with this convoluted way of trying to insert a photo on this forum.

If life's getting too much, I know just the place however......
If I want to post a picture, I first of all load it up into Flickr. It looks to me as if you already have a Flickr account so that should be easy to do.
In Flickr I "share" the picture (⇑big arrow pointing up but curving to the right) and load it's data (white text on a blue background) with a right-click and "Copy".
In the Forum I load said picture using the <> symbol at the extreme right of the Toolbar (left click to activate, then right click to "Paste" then Left Click on "OK" to load.
After loading the picture, the "Cursor" is hidden behind the bottom right of the picture. Press "Return" and it will drop, bottom-left, below the picture. You can now add text.
I've never been able to get the "mountain in a rectangle" thing to work !
Don - where is that? Clearly not for the faint of heart!
I've got vertigo just looking at the picture. The slightly tippy angle doesn't help...
The Tablette 10 Signature are out now and very similar to Reference 8s...

Interesting - are they still a sealed box ?

Yes, only the woofer and crossover has changed.

A few miles up the LyseFjord from Stavanger, Norway.
In English, it's called "The Pulpit" or "Pulpit Rock"
