Magneplanar with Supernait 2

Does anyone know whether a SN2 could properly drive a pair of Magneplanar speakers as I believe they are quite power hungry?

Thanks for any help

Not an ideal match. Depending on the size of your room (smaller) and the Magnepan you select (smaller) you could manage decent sound but overall the combination just doesn't work to the benefit of either piece though both are excellent when appropriately matched.

Thanks Clay

I do not listen at high volumes as I love my neighbours and the room is quite small.  The Magneplanar speakers I have in mind are not the largest of the type either

I’ve managed Quad ESL-63s with my SuperNait2 and they sounded spectacular. So I would imagine Magnepans should be OK too.

Thanks Adam the 63's were another thought of mine... does the SN2 drive them ok?

I had a pair of 57's a long time ago and I absolutely loved them but when I moved I could not fit them in the room properly, actually I still can't fit them in as they are just too wide but the 63's would fit ok

It’s more than up to the job - current and power-wise SN2 will drive them with ease. Didn’t even get warm.
