CD5 + FC

Quick question, can you use FCXS on CD5 or does it need FC2?

In other words is CD5 ok with 24V or does it need 22V?

Mark, while it's true that Output B on the Flatcap 2 was optimised for the analogue output stage of the CD5 (and is at 22V), you can use a Flatcap 2x or 2xs without issue.

Is the 22v option the best route sonically or is it a fag paper?!

I'm afraid I just don't know because I've never actually tried a FC2x or xs on a CD5. I did really like the CD5 with FC2 though, a combination I still look back on with great affection.

Thanks Richard, from what I know that would be the way to go, agree the CD5 is rather good, something of an understatement there.
